Disciplinary Commissions Verdict: three Players

The Disciplinary Commission of Erste Bank Eishockey Liga has announced the Suspension for three players, Mike Danton, Martin Skadra (HC Orli Znojmo) and Guillaume Lefevbre (Moser Medical Graz 99ers)

We will divide this article in three parts to accommodate the different verdicts. All decisions are based on video evidence and Referees� reports.

Mike Danton (HC Orli Znojmo):
The Verdict states that Mike Danton got into another fight following a first altercation. According to rule 528e DO, this kind of behaviour warrants a Match penalty. Two games are the minimum suspension.
Since there were no immediate consequences of the fight and since there was no excessive violence and taking into account the mitigating circumstance that Mike Danton has a clean record in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, one of the games will be put on probation for three months.

Martin Skadra (HC Orli Znojmo)
The Verdict states that Martin Skadra attacked his opponent right after the face-off. According to rule 528b DO, this kind of behaviour warrants a Match penalty. Two games are the minimum suspension.
Since there were no immediate consequences of the fight and since there was no excessive violence and taking into account the mitigating circumstance that Martin Skadra has a clean record in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, one of the games will be put on probation for three months.

Guillaume Lefebvre (Moser Medical Graz 99ers)
The verdict states that Moser Medical Graz 99ers Guillaume Lefevbre started a fisticuff with a player who had just had a fisticuff with another player before. According to 528e DO, this kind of behaviour warrants a match penalty. Two games are the minimum suspension.
Since Lefevbre was already suspended for violent play this season, it was impossible to put one of those games on probation. He will have to sit out both games, in Jesenice today, Sunday, and on next Sunday, when his team play UPC Vienna Capitals at home.

As per usual, there are no remedies against those verdicts.
