Znojmo add Panec and Sova to their roster

In their bid to make the Play-offs from the Qualification Round of Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, HC Orli Znojmo signed two young talents for added roster depth. Goalie Michael Panec and Defender Ales Sova are Eagles, effective today.

HC Orli Znojmo keep up their young, Czech way. The Red Eagles have agreed terms with young Czechs Michael Panec, 22, a goalie and Ales Sova, 20, a Defenseman.
Sova, who was born in Brno, has come through the ranks at HC Slovan Ustecti Lvi and had his first Extraliga outings with his native Kometa Brno. The majority of the past two seasons was spent with Rebel Havlickuv Brod in the second Czech Tier on loan, though. He signed with Znojmo until the end of the season.
In addition to that and as a reaction to an injury to Filip Landsman which put the Znojmo goalie out for the season, Eagles add Michael Panec on their Erste Bank Eishockey Liga roster. Panec, 21-year old goalkeeper, has been a Znojmo player for the past three seasons, serving mostly as a backup goalie. He has previously won the Czech U20 title with Karlovy Vary, the club reported in a Press Release.
