Four successful years in Italy
The Canadian Frederic Cloutier played the last four years very successful in Italians first division for SV Ritten. With the Italians Frederic Cloutier won the Super Cup twice (2009 and 2010) and 2010 also the Coppa Italia. In addition the goalie reached with the “Red-Blues” three times the finals in Italians Serie A (2007/08, 2008/09 and 2009/10), his save-percentage was always more than 92 percent!

Another highlight in his career came in 2010/11 as he got a call-up to the Canadian National Team for an international match. Most recently, Cloutier kept himself fit in the Ligue Nord-Americaine de Hockey (LNAH), a professional ice hockey league in the Canadian province of Quebec, and played there also one game for the Sorel-Tracy GCI.

ECHL-Goalie and Rookie of the Year
Frederic Cloutier can also impress with some awards: So the 30-year-old Canadian received in 2000/01 playing for the Shawinigan Cataracts the Jacques Plante Trophy for being the goalie with the Best Goals Against Average in the QMJHL. 2001/02 he signed for Louisiana IceGators in the East Cost Hockey League and impressed there too! For his great performances the Canadian was awarded "ECHL-Goaltender and Rookie of the Year"!

Also in the American Hockey League Frederic Cloutier has already played a few games, so he did for the Houston Aeros (20 games), Bridgeport Sound Tigers (18) and Milwaukee Admirals (three). Now the goalie will stengh up the Moser Medical Graz99ers for the rest of the season 2011/12 and support Fabian Weinhandl, who celebrated on Sunday in Znojmo his first shut-out this season. “With Fabian Weinhandl and Artiom Konovalov we started this season with two young goalies, but at this level we also need experience in the net.
