It was a slow start for a final game. Hungary’s Top-team, SAPA Fehervar AV19 and HC Asiago took some time to adopt their style. In the tenth minute the home team took the lead. Csaba Kovács tricked a defenseman on the blue line of the offensive zone and skated around him, then he made a perfect diagonal pass to the arriving Ryan who scored into the gaping net. Four minutes later Kovács built another promising attack on the wing, then he passed towards the net to Kristijan Palkovics, but the arriving winger's stick was blocked in the last second. In the 15^th minute Tóth took the puck into the offensive zone, then he passed to Nagy. The young centerman had the puck behind the base line, then shot it aiming at the goalie's pads and Grieco didn't close his legs quickly enough and the home team took a two-goal lead. The third Sapa Fehérvár AV19 goal came less than a minute later. After the face-off, Balint Magosi took the low shot and the puck landed in the corner of the Asiago net.
In the sixth minute of the second period Sapa Fehérvár AV19 further increased their lead. Istvan Sofron received an extremely punctual diagonal pass in front of the Asiago net, Grieco managed to kick away the puck at the first instance. The Italian goalie also made a good second save but the puck landed behind his net and Vas first took possession, then passed back to the front of the net for Magosi to score easily. In the middle of the period HC Asiago changed goalies, Grieco was replaced by Jeffrey Lerg but less than two minutes later, Lerg also conceded his first goal. Mihály had the puck by the boards, kept it with ease, then he passed it towards the net. Palkovics was the target of the pass and he easily took possession of the puck and scored with a strong shot.
In the fourth minute of the third period HC Asiago reduced the damage. Mirko Presti took the shot from the blue line and Vigilante put his stick into the shot which found its way into the home team's net. But Sapa Fehérvár AV19's win was not questioned for a minute as 14 seconds later they scored again. Eric Johansson tricked himself into the offensive zone and was already besides the net when he passed the puck behind between his legs. The goalie was helpless and the arriving Arpad Mihály scored easily. Just over two minutes later, Mihály was successful again. Johansson and Mihály passed the puck back and forth. The centerman kept the puck behind the baseline, then he passed to Mihály for the one-timer and the puck landed in the far upper corner of the net. In the remaining part of the game, Sapa Fehérvár AV19 kept its lead easily and won the Gábor Ocskay Jr. Memorial Tournament for the third time.
