Six imports leave Jesenice

HK Acroni Jesenice started with Czech goalkeeper Michal Fikrt, young local Ondrej Kacetl played in the net for the Eagles and was the busier of two keepers early in the game. Antti Pusa fed Marjan Manfreda in the slot and the Slovenian forward opened the scoring. It was the first goal for the Red Steelers in 2011/12. Petr Kanko equalized with a deflection of a shot, but Peter Bizalj put his team back in front with a great shot into the top corner. - 2:1 for Jesenice after 20 minutes.

Znojmo turned the game around
Vladimir Riha equalized for the home team with an open net rebound in the second period (25.) and the home team turned the game around early in the third. Adam Havlik put Znojmo in front with another rebound, Martin Podesva then beat Gasper Kroselj, who replaced Michal Fikrt in the net, with a slapshot from distance and Eagles were firmly in front. Jan Lattner and Jan Trojan then put a final stamp on the score with two quick goals in the last ten minutes.
