SAPA Fehervar AV19 has extended the contract with Andras Horvath for another two years. HDD TILIA Olimpija Ljubljana extended the contract with forward Andrej Hebar for one season. EC Red Bull Salzburg hold their press-conference today. Plus: KHL Medvescak Zagreb will miss goalie Robert Kristan for a few weeks, Ales Sila is coming for Try-out.

EC Red Bull Salzburg hold their press-conference today. Like everybody knows their Head Coach Pierre Page is a man with visions: Salzburg is to be different and significantly better. His mission: Develop, entertain and win.

International and national aims
The clubs aims this year are national and international: Salzburg would like to defend their title in the Erste Bank Eishockey and play a big role in European Trophy. At the European Trophy in this summer for the first time take part 24 clubs from six nations. For the finals, the Red Bulls Salute from 16. - 18. December in Wien and Salzburg, qualify the top two teams of all four groups of six. Salzburg - as organizer - is already qualified for the final tournament! The European Trophy starts for Matthias Trattnig and Company already during the next week in Sweden, where the Red Bulls play against Farjestad BK, Frölunda and Djurgarden.

New face
The face of the team has changed during the summer: Many leaders, such as Ryan Duncan, Thomas Koch, Reinhard Divis or Marco Pewal have left the club. And some new ones arrived at the Red Bulls Arena. One of them is Ryan Kavanagh. The Defender has a clear expectations and aims with Salzburg: "I want to get better and as an athlete you want to win of course!", said the 20-years-old defender, who had to get used to the training model of the Red Bulls: "The off-Ice training is pretty tough here. It is certainly the most comprehensive training that I had before."

The first game the Red Bulls play already on Thursday in Füssen agienst Avangard Omsk.

Contract extensions in Ljubljana and Szekesfehervar
HDD TILIA Olimpija Ljubljana has extended the contract with forward Andrej Hebar for one season. SAPA Fehervar AV19 extended the contract with defender Andras Horvath even for two years.

And KHL Medvescak Zagreb miss goalie Robert Kristan for a few weeks. The goalie struggles with the aftermath of a knee injury and has to make a therapy until end of August. Robert Kristan will maybe also miss the first few games in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Michael Ouzas is temporarily the new number one. Ales Sila, who played already for HDD TILIA Olimpija Ljubljana in the league, is coming for a try-out and should help out.
