Next addition for the Vienna Capitals: Canadian Forward Jonathan Ferland switches from Villach to Vienna! Ferland played 165 games for the Eagles in the last three years, scoring 146 points - including 61 goals. Last year he managed 47 points in 61 games and was Captain of the Team.
Previously Jonathan Ferland played five seasons for the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL. With the Farm Team of the Montreal Canadians the Canadian won the AHL Calder Cup in 2006/07; and he even made it into the NHL. Seven games the 28-years-old Forward played in 2005/06 for the Montreal Canadians, scoring one goal. With signing Jonathan Ferland the Vienna Capitals have now already 22 players under contract.

The 54-year-old Swede worked the last few years as a scout in the NHL for the Florida Panthers (2010/11) and the Edmonton Oilers (from 1992 to 2010).
