Coming and going in Klagenfurt! EC-KAC signed forward John Lammers (CAN). The 25-year-old Canadian comes from HC Plzen. For the Czechs John Lammers played last season 52 games, scoring 21 points - including ten goals. In 2004 he was drafted by the Dallas Stars, but never made it into the NHL...

The first five years of his career (2001/02 – 2005/06) Lammers spend in WHL. First he stormed four years with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, then one season with the Everett Silvertips. 2006/07 he switched in AHL to the Iowa Stars, but he left the Stars already during the season and switched to the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL). With Idaho he also won his first and only title, the ECHL Kelly Cup. The following year the attackers then moved to Europe for the first time in his career and signed up for Ässät (FIN). For the Finns he played 23 games, before he went back overseas again and finished the 2007-08-season with the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL. John Lammers spent the next two years mostly in the American Hockey League, playing for Houston Aeros (2008-09), Manitoba Moose, Providence Bruins and Abbotsford Heat (all 2009/10). Last he played a successful season in the Czech Republic for HC Plzen.

Furthermore EC-KAC has dissolved the contract with Sean Brown. And there are also some changes in the preparation program of the club:
